Proximity to structures. Trees we can fell whole are inexpensive. Trees that must be rigged down piece by piece because they overhang your roof can double or triple in price.
Hazards. Power lines requiring utility coordination, leaning trees with structural concerns, decay that makes climbing unsafe, and tight access for cranes all add cost.
Wood disposal & stump. Standard pricing includes chip-and-haul of small wood. Large logs may be left or hauled at extra cost. Stump grinding is always itemized separately.
Emergency vs. scheduled. Storm response and after-hours work typically commands a 25–50% premium over scheduled jobs.
